DNA photography was primarily created to care for the photographic need of an overlooked generation. I believe that photography is a form of ethnographic storytelling, blending the story of the individual being photographed with the worldview of both the participant and the photographer. The lens in which both parties see their environment and ultimately interact with it and act upon it, completes the story being told – this is the culture of photographic storytelling.

As a lifelong learner, I am a 2024 graduate of Rocky Mountain School of Photography's Professional Intensive Program. This is where I perfected my photographic style, technical skills, and photography business skills to better serve you . . . my clients.

I have more than 40 years of experience combined, working in health care as a Physician Assistant and in education with storytelling as part of my training. Additionally, I have worked and lived among many different cultures. I have an extensive background traveling and living in multiple locations around the world for varying periods of time. These include: The United Kingdom, Spain, China, India, South Africa, Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, and many other European countries. I speak English, Spanish, and have studied Urdu (though don't speak it very well). My goal is to use these experiences to better tell your story through the lens of the camera with sensitivity and understanding.
